Ceramic inks ester based represent the ultimate evolution of research. Despite the high quality and stability attained by glycolether based inks, it arose the need of formulating inks with very high performance obtained by esterification of natural fatty acids. Lubricants and ecofriendly, they have a poor odorous component and a poor chemical aggressiveness against plastic materials.

Sicer presents the new Custom SCD2000 range consists of different inks proposals that allow users to choose the most suitable four-colour combination for their needs.
The Custom SCD2000 series consists of a new black ink, SCD2071, which is also highly effective at creating absolute black surfaces, a new cyan SCD2062, three different honey/yellow inks and two red brown/orange inks. This new series results in a much wider colour gamut than the tradizional four-colour process, particularly in the areas where the standard gamut can sometimes prove inadequate, namely orange, red, yellow and green.
The SCD2000 custom inks can be combined in four different ways, each with a specific function.
The first combination consists of:
NEW CYAN SCD2062
NEW RED BROWN SCD2080
NEW YELLOW PR SCD2010
New BLACK SCD2071
This solution is ideal for use with wall tiles and when working with lemon ink in the Y channel
The second combination consists of:
NEW CYAN SCD2062
NEW RED BROWN SCD2080
NEW HONEY SCD2015
NEW BLACK SCD2071
This solution is perfect for floor tiles and for extending the four-colour gamut in the yellow, green, orange and red regions.
A further extension of the gamut can olso be archieved with two new so-called HYBRID inks which replace Red Brown and Honey in the red and yellow channels and make up the third combination, which therefore consists of:

This solution is optimal to approximate the gamut only reachable with Sicer’s special yellow SCD018E and red SCD088E without two additional color channel

NEW BLACK SCD2071
