Since ever sensitive to the growing needs of quality required by the market, Sicer dedicates a great commitment to continuous improvement of business processes. The internal HSE Department – Health Safety & Environment – collects, spreads and manages all industry regulations, both technical and legislative, and ensures support and security to all activities.
Sicer S.P.A. obtained the “Quality management system certified conforming to TUV – UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 (TÜV Italia Srl)“ and the “Environmental management system certified conforming to TUV – UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 (TÜV Italia Srl)“.
Since 2019, also Sicer Indonesia quality system has obtained the certification TUV-UNI EN ISO 9001:2015.
Always very sensitive to issues related to environmental sustainability, social and governance, SICER ITALIA in May 2022 obtained the prestigious ESG certification issued by ECOVADIS, through the evaluation of all business processes.
The methodology used by ECOVADIS analyzed in detail the policies, actions and results obtained by the company in the management of the environment, work, ethics and human rights as well as of purchasing and sustainable processes.
This is only the first step towards a development of the Company that wants to be transparent, guaranteed and supported by international bodies, which have a global vision of the environmental issues and circular development involving all internal and external stakeholders of the company such as: suppliers, collaborators, customers.
To date, only 25% of companies manage to obtain this important certification!
Among Sicer’s future objectives there is certainly that of continuing this important virtuous path, improving each year with a higher score and qualification. In 2023, the project will be to expand this prestigious qualification also to the Spanish and Mexican branch offices.
Sicer has officially joined the Responsible Care® program, the voluntary initiative of the chemical industry promoted in Italy by Federchimica and at European level by Cefic (European Chemical Industry Council). This is a global program involving over 10,000 chemical companies in more than 70 countries, committed to continuously improving their environmental, health, safety and social responsibility performance.
Through Responsible Care®, Sicer is committed to promoting sustainable development by integrating environmental and social responsibility into corporate strategies and production processes. Joining the program is a concrete step that confirms the company’s will to operate in a transparent, responsible and oriented to continuous improvement.
