Sicer at Cersaie 2025 presents “BACK TO ROCK”: the art of textured surfaces.
A project born from the meeting between two important realities: on the one hand the sensorial vision of the IPOGEO by Margraf brand, which transforms marble into a unique aesthetic and tactile experience; on the other, the technological innovation of Sicer, capable of enhancing every ceramic surface with cutting-edge solutions.
The co-marketing project at Cersaie 2025 will involve Sicer, Margraf (through the IPOGEO brand) and designer Diego Crestani.
This collaboration brings a new vision to the fair, in which marble and ceramics interact through material and touch, offering professionals in the ceramics sector concrete inspiration for product innovation and the design of contemporary spaces.
The idea at the heart of this concept is clear: to enhance the sensoriality and identity of the material, focusing on processes that bring together tradition and technology, aesthetic vision and technical performance.
Material as a common thread: marble and ceramics
The dialogue between marble worked in negative by Diego Crestani and ceramics developed in positive by Sicer is based on in-depth research into the veins, textures, and tactile value of surfaces. Margraf, thanks to IPOGEO processes, transforms marble by excavating the material, creating effects of depth, chiaroscuro, and surfaces in which light plays a fundamental role.
At the same time, Sicer reinterprets ceramics by enhancing the ductility and expressive capacity of micro-granules. The result is a sequence of surfaces that dialogue between nature and technology, where every detail invites touch and close observation. The veins of marble and ceramic textures are compared:
- Marble in negative: grooves, reliefs, and shadows reminiscent of stone in its most authentic form.
- Ceramic in positive: full surfaces, micro-granules that create velvety effects and unusual tactile details.
This collaboration highlights how important it can be to experiment with new material languages, bringing out an almost artisanal care in industrial production and opening doors to new applications in architecture and interior design.
