Among the wide range of digital products developed and produced by Sicer, there is a new proposal for tableware decoration, a sector of great prestige and importance.
A complete range of pigmented inks for direct printing on fired or raw ceramic surfaces that allows to create extremely defined and detailed decorations with so intense colors to be seemed printed on paper.
Sicer, to further improve the final yield, according to the different conditions of production and firing temperature, provides a coating based on specific transparent glaze, customized for every need.
Sicer, Italian innovation
This new series of digital inks with UV technology, developed from specific needs of the tableware sector that mainly uses decal application.
The T-DEK UV series was created for printing on decal paper, but can also be used for direct printing on vitrified (mainly flat) surfaces.
The technical features of T-DEK UV after firing, are the same of T-INK series with direct printing in first firing, with the aim of obtaining an “in glaze” decoration at temperatures between 1050 and 1250 ° C.
In the same way, the color rendering has been optimized to match perfectly with the T-INK series to obtain perfect combinations for pieces decorated with the two different technologies.

Sicer provides specific glaze finishes, which can be customised according to the manufacturing and firing conditions, to further improve the final decorating performance.
The T-INK inks are intended for direct decoration in first firing, while the T-DEK UV series is designed for transfer by decal or for direct printing on flat glass surfaces. Both guarantee similar colour rendition and ‘in glaze’ decorations after annealing.
Decorations made with T-INK series inks can be fired at temperatures between 1050 and 1250 °C for optimum results. T-DEK UV inks can be fired at temperatures between 750 and 850 °C.
The T-DEK UV series is particularly suitable for predominantly flat glass surfaces, but can also be used on decal paper for colour transfer.
